BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Robert Rojas scored one goal and set up another as River Plate secured a 2-0 win at Banfield in the Argentine Primera Division on Friday.

It took until the 61st minute for River to break the deadlock as Nacho Fernandez pounced on a looping Rojas header to slide a shot past goalkeeper Ivan Arboleda.

Rojas added a second goal 12 minutes from time when he met a Jorge Carrascal corner with a bullet header into the top left corner.

Earlier, Nicolas Orsini netted a brace as Boca Juniors suffered their second consecutive defeat by falling 2-1 at home to Lanus.

Orsini struck both goals in the first half before Ramon Abila pulled a goal back for the hosts with four minutes remaining.
