BUENOS AIRES, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Argentina's Talleres de Cordoba have confirmed their interest in signing Roma midfielder Javier Pastore.
The Primera Division outfit reportedly submitted a bid to sign the 31-year-old in January and could make another offer during the upcoming European summer transfer window.
"I had the opportunity to visit Pastore in Rome. It is his intention to return at some point," Talleres president Andres Fassi told Radio Colonia on Tuesday.
"He has two years left on his contract with Roma. There is a commitment to one day come back and wear the Talleres shirt."
Pastore began his career at Talleres in 2007 and had spells with Huracan, Palermo and Paris Saint-Germain before joining Roma in 2018.
Injuries have restricted him to just 32 appearances and four goals across all competitions for the Italian club.
