BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Augusto Lotti scored two second-half goals as Atletico Tucuman maintained their place at the top of Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday with a 3-1 home win over Estudiantes.
Mateo Coronel opened the scoring for the hosts with a 29th-minute strike before Leandro Diaz equalized just before halftime.
Lotti restored Atletico's lead in the 58th minute and then converted a penalty 13 minutes from time to secure his side's 11th win of the campaign.
The result leaves Lucas Pusineri's men with 41 points from 21 games, two points clear of second-placed Boca Juniors. Estudiantes are 17th in the 28-team standings with 27 points.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Sunday, Velez Sarsfield won 1-0 at home to Barracas Central, Racing Club secured a 2-1 home victory over Union Santa Fe, Tigre prevailed 1-0 at Gimnasia and Platense drew 1-1 at Rosario Central.
