CAIRO -- At least seven people were killed and 20 others were wounded on Wednesday in a multi-car collision in Egypt's Delta province of Sharqiya.

KIEV -- Visiting International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi has arrived at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) in southern Ukraine, the country's state-run nuclear energy operator Energoatom said Wednesday.

During his visit, Grossi will evaluate the situation at the nuclear plant and talk to the engineers who operate it, Energoatom said in a Telegram post. (Ukraine-IAEA-Visit)

WINDHOEK -- Namibia on Wednesday announced the suspension of the import and in-transit movement of live/raw poultry, birds, and live/raw ostrich products from Argentina and Chile after outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Latin American countries.

Albertina Shilongo, the chief veterinary officer at the Namibian Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform, said in a statement that since the incubation period of the disease is 14 days as set by the World Organization for Animal Health, the suspension takes effect 14 days before the date of start of the event -- Feb. 24 in Argentina and March 10 in Chile. ATHENS -- In the wake of the banking turmoil triggered by the collapse of three U.S. banks, and the crisis at Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse this spring, Greek experts have called for vigilance and rapid action.
